Doctors

A daytime soap set in a Doctor’s surgury in Letherbridge, near Birmingham. The show tells the story of the staff and their patients with both one off stories per episodes and continuing stories. It has the capacity to tell very dramatic stories and very, very random, funny ones.

Eastenders

Telling the lives of the residents living on a Square in the East End of London, Eastenders is the direct rival of Coronation Street. It’s often seen as the more serious soap and it’s end credits are infamous. And despite everyone pleading poverty, nobody eats at home, does their own washing or spends a night away from the pub.

Emmerdale

Set in the beautiful countryside in Yorkshire, Emmerdale tells the story of the lives of people living in a small village where a surprisng amount of drama occurs!

Hollyoaks

A surprising amount of drama also involves in this village in Chester, full of young people unable to maintain relationships and also a high number of serial killers…

Home and Away

This daytime soap is set in in a gorgeous part of Sydney, Australia where it is always sunny. The only time they ever have bad weather is if it’s an actual storm, hurricaine or tornado. Otherwise, it’s only sunshine and they are starting to become LGBTQ friendly.

Neighbours

Unlike its counterpart, this Australian soap is set in Melbourne, based on the residents of the infamous Ramsay Street. Here, the people are LGBT friendly and very inclusive and half the cast used to be in Home and Away.
